Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, subscriptions, appointments, and client delays are handled by Ask Sharifah Holdings, LLC.
One Time Services
Because professional time is reserved and work may begin immediately, payments become nonrefundable once research, planning, communication, design, writing, setup, intake, or other service work has started. If work has not started, contact us promptly so we can review the request.
Monthly Services and Subscriptions
Monthly services renew automatically until canceled. Cancel before the next billing date through the secure Stripe Customer Portal. Fees already processed are not prorated or refunded for a partial billing period.
Grant Writing Intake
The grant writing intake and setup fee covers the initial meeting, organization review, document review, funding goal assessment, and account preparation. It becomes nonrefundable once intake work begins.
Appointments and Consultations
If you need to reschedule, provide notice as soon as possible. Repeated missed appointments or delays may affect project timing. A new appointment may be required before work can continue.
Client Information and Delays
You are responsible for providing accurate information, content, documents, approvals, and responses needed to complete the work. Client delays may change delivery dates. Services are not refundable because required materials were not provided or approvals were delayed.
Revisions and Additional Work
Included revisions are limited to the service description or written agreement. New requests, changed direction, or additional revisions may require a separate fee.
Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
Contact us immediately if you believe you were charged twice or charged the wrong amount. We will review verified billing errors promptly.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a payment dispute so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve legitimate billing concerns. Filing a chargeback does not cancel an active subscription.
Custom Agreements
A signed proposal, contract, or written service agreement may contain terms specific to a project. Where those terms differ from this general policy, the written project agreement controls.
